A sample of 435 junior education majors in a large Southwestern university were given the 16 Personality Factor Questionnaire and the Opinion Scale. Obtained perceptions of regular class teachers who taught children who had been in EMR programs, but had been decertified (D) and returned to regular classes. A sample of 61 teachers were asked to complete the Leary Interpersonal Check List on Hypothetical EMH, LD, and normal 10-year-old males. The teachers also answered 15 multiple choice questions on mainstreaming. Findings indicated that the three teacher groups were in agreement in viewing the child types differently. (Author)

A 60-item short form of the Mnnesota Teacher Attitude Inventory (MTAI) was compared to the present 150-item form to determine whether the same constructs were common to both sets of items.
