An Examination of the Role of Emotions in Antiracist Pedagogy: Implications, Scholarship, and Practices
Grosland, Tanetha J.
Review of Education, Pedagogy & Cultural Studies, v35 n4 p319-332 2013
Tanetha Grosland's goal is to inform and extend the current knowledge base concerning the intersection of antiracist pedagogy and emotions, and its implications for reconceptualizing such pedagogy. Therefore, she begins by addressing some fundamental theoretical claims about antiracist education. Then utilizing two sources to contextualize this work, she explores and theorizes the role of emotions in antiracist pedagogy.
