Raising a disabled child can be highly stressful for the parents, and it can negatively impact their quality of life. Therefore, in order to minimise such problems and difficulties, the parents are in need of resilience. The present study aimed to evaluate the role of perceived stress, social support, and resilience in predicting the quality of life among the parents of disabled children. The statistical population included all parents with disabled children in Behbahan city. The sample consisted of 250 volunteers who were selected voluntarily. The research instruments included World Health Organisation Quality of Life Questionnaire-Short Form, the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS), the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support, and the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC). The results show that there was a negative and significant relationship between perceived stress and the quality of life of the parents of disabled children. Moreover, there was a positive and significant relationship between social support and resilience, and the quality of life of the parents of disabled children. In addition, the stepwise regression analysis showed that the variables of resilience, social support, and stress can explain and predict 59% of the variance in the quality of life of the parents of disabled children.
