This curriculum guide was developed to assist business instructors using Dac Easy Accounting College Edition Version 2.0 software in their accounting programs. The module consists of four units containing assignment sheets and job sheets designed to enable students to master competencies identified in the area of automated accounting. The first unit explains microcomputer systems and software operations. It is followed by applied simulations for sole proprietorships (Unit II), partnerships (Unit III), and corporations (Unit IV). The module is designed to allow students to advance at their own pace, progressing from using a preprogrammed data disk to creating their own data disk. Each unit contains some or all of the following elements: objectives, suggested activities/instructional materials, information sheet, transparency masters, handouts, assignment sheets and job sheets, keys to assignment sheets and job sheets, and a test with answer key.
