This research examined the ways and means administration used to disseminate information concerning the consolidation of two technical colleges in the State of Georgia, USA. These means of information dissemination included press releases by the consolidating colleges and the Technical College System of Georgia (the system which the consolidating colleges belonged), a web page containing consolidation information and a place where individuals could ask questions about the consolidation that was maintained by the consolidated college from 2012-2016, and research data collected by the consolidated college Institutional Effectiveness staff via focus group and town hall meetings with students in 2013. This research was archival in nature. It was also a qualitative case study. The information used for this research was collected in the years 2012-2016. The college consolidation occurred in 2013. The research questions addressed in this research involved the usage of information dissemination by administration to influence student opinion concerning the college consolidation, student acceptance of the consolidation, and student participation in the planning and execution of the consolidation.
