Bunnell, Tristan
Educational Forum, v75 n2 p174-187 2011
The International Baccalaureate[R] (IB) world, known as "the IB World," is doubling in size every five years. The IB has become a complex educational product, but offers high levels of consistency and reliability in terms of delivery and assessment. However, since late 2008, a number of concerns have been raised about the quality and manageability of the Diploma Program. A major challenge for the future will be attracting new markets through new initiatives, yet maintaining and managing a consistent and reliable assessment. (Contains 4 tables.)
