Programs adopted in U.S. in 1956 under which high school students can take College Entrance Examination Board (CEEB) tests, receive college credit for acceptable scores, and be placed into sophomore-level college classes (Note: Prior to Mar80, the use of this term was not restricted by a Scope Note)
