Student Centered Financial Services: Innovations That Succeed
Sinsabaugh, Nancy, Ed.
National Association of College and University Business Officers (NJ3)
This collection of best practices shares how 18 higher education institutions across the country have successfully evaluated and redesigned their student financial services programs to improve services to students and their parents and find cost savings for the institution. This volume illustrates how other institutions have successfully tackled such issues as: (1) Integrating systems to offer a student-centered, "one-stop" model; (2) Designing and implementing multi-campus solutions; (3) Understanding bursar/financial aid differences; (4) Developing an enterprise-wide portal; (5) Merging financial aid and bursar offices; (6) Administering financial aid and funds management; (7) Managing strategic enrollment; (8) Exploring innovative financial aid options; (9) Meeting common bursar challenges; and (10) Measuring student financial system performance. Following an introduction by Kristine Dillon and Nancy Sinsabaugh, this publication is divided into seven parts.
