This program guide identifies particular considerations in the organization, operation, and evaluation of diversified cooperative training programs. Contents include information on the following: program content and structure, including program philosophy, program goals, and coordinator's responsibility; a curriculum framework that details major concepts, content, laboratory activities, and intended outcomes; list of student performance standards in 11 areas; and facilities design criteria, suggested equipment and supplies, and safety. A student learning guide and student organization participation are suggested to aid in program implementation. Information on teacher certification and addresses of professional organizations and support services are provided. An instructional resources section lists sources of print and audiovisual materials and software, teacher-recommended materials, teacher-recommended resources by subject, and Florida Educational Information Service services. Appendixes include a sample student learning guide with learning activities and resources, instruction sheets, and self-check with answer key and sample forms such as student applications, training agreements, and evaluation forms. A Career Merit Achievement Plan is attached. It displays the student performance standards required for entry into the work force as a diversified cooperative trainer and provides for documentation of students' level of achievement. (YLB)
