This selected bibliography contains references to over 200 articles published in the last decade that clearly indicate the interest in nontraditional options for continuing education in the health professions. The articles found in approximately 100 professional journals both provide general information about options for study and focus on specific methods of delivery. Citations are divided into these seven categories: (1) general; (2) individualized study/self-assessment; (3) visual communication, including television, videotape, teleconference; (4) telephone; (5) computer; (6) library audiovisual services; and (7) other, including audit, circuit courses, study clubs, two-way radio, etc. Each article is cited by author, title, and source.
