This curriculum guide contains learning module outlines for teaching a series of courses in pipefitting in high schools in Alberta. Each module provides selected learning experiences to develop basic competence in plumbing, pipefitting, and related trades. Each module consists of an introduction, objectives, learning resources list, content summary, and a number of topics, each with a generalization and concepts/subconcepts related to learning tasks. The modules cover the following topics: a general introductory course, domestic plumbing, domestic heating, commercial and industrial plumbing, drawing and estimating, (advanced) commercial and industrial plumbing, and special topics in piping, on three levels.
