Many Visions, Many Aims, One Test.
Bracey, Gerald W.
Phi Delta Kappan, v78 n5 p411-12 Jan 1997
According to newly released Third International Mathematics and Science Study data, American children may score low on international comparisons because teachers are trying to teach them too many topics. A recent "American Demographics" article shows 40% of adults engaged in formal educational activities. (MLH)
