Assessed the effect of two treatment methods (slide-tape and discussion) on the vocational awareness and preference of mentally retarded adults. Results indicated that the slide-tape program was more successful, although both treatments increased number of job-related preference responses. No relationship between vocational knowledge and preference was found. (BL)
