This booklet introduces North Carolinian students to the variety of student financial aid programs which exist along with guidelines for applying for aid. The booklet lists and provides brief descriptions of federal-, state-, and privately-funded programs. Information given under each program are the eligibility requirements, the value of the program in terms of monetary support for tuition and any other financial assistance that is part of the package, the procedures for application, and where available, the repayment process and requirements. The appendix presents several lists of North Carolina postsecondary institutions, including community, senior, and bible colleges. Each institution's address and primary phone number are provided. An alphabetical index to financial aid programs is provided. (GLR)
