Health Occupations. Education for Employment Task Lists.

The duties and tasks found in these task lists form the basis of instructional content for secondary, postsecondary, and adult occupational training programs for health occupations. The health occupations are divided into five clusters. The clusters and occupations are: health occupations, nursing occupations (home health aide, geriatric aide, nurse assistant, practical nurse, professional nurse--associate degree), medical assistant, dental assistant, and physical therapist assistant. Matrices for each cluster list the duties and tasks and indicate which occupations include that duty or task. Each cluster also includes a list of employability skills that are important for all occupations. (YLB)
