The study evaluated the objectives of the Universal Basic Education (UBE) programme in Delta State. It considered the extent to which each objective was achieved. A research question on the extent to which the UBE objectives were achieved guided the study. Two hypotheses were tested. A sample of 300 students was randomly drawn through the use of proportionate stratified random sampling technique. A 4-point scaled questionnaire with face and construct validity and a reliability coefficient of 0.84 as a measure of internal consistency was obtained through Cronbach Alpha method. The data collected with the questionnaire were analyzed with the use of mean and Z-test. Mean was used to analyze the research question while Z-test was used to test each hypothesis at 0.05 level of significance. The evaluation result revealed that the extent of achievement of UBE objectives is low in Delta State. Recommendations were made for the full achievement of UBE objectives.
