Responses to Forces Influencing Cohesion as a Function of Player Status and Level of Male Varsity Basketball Competition.
Gruber, Joseph J.; Gray, Gary R.
Research Quarterly for Exercise and Sport, v53 n1 p27-36 Mar 1982
A study analyzed team cohesion perceptions of 515 male varsity basketball players (10 to 22 years of age) to determine if factors influencing team cohesion were a function of competitive intensity or of the importance of individual players to their team. Players with the most game playing time were more satisfied than those with less playing time. (Authors/JN)
