This directory covers additional Web sites and opportunities that have appeared in the year since the original book, "Virtual Field Trips," was published. The field trips provided are appropriate for K-12 students and designed to meet the goals and interests of educators. Organized by subjects and cross-referenced for quick and easy access, these sites reflect current curricular requirements and goals such as business, women's history, multiculturalism, conflict resolution, and global awareness. Trips have been added for physically and emotionally challenged students and those who wish to get to know them better. Also, by reader request, more physical education, health and safety, rural, and architectural field trips are included. An icon of a school house and school bell is used to identify URLs of sites that are exclusively for students in primary grades. Includes an index. (AEF)
