Schnorr, Janice M.
Teacher Education and Special Education, v18 n1 p22-38 Win 1995
Teachers' perceptions of incentives and deterrents for teaching special education, teachers' movements between districts over a 5-year period, and teachers' future professional goals were queried through a survey of 484 Alaska special education teachers conducted by the Alaska Comprehensive System of Personnel Development (CSPD). Retention of teachers during the 5-year period was high, and 62% planned to teach special education for another 3 years. (Author/JDD)
