This article presents an interview with Christie Henry. She joined Princeton University Press as Director in 2017, from the University of Chicago Press where she was editorial director for sciences, social sciences, and reference publishing. She is a long-term leader in the world of university publishing, and has held a number of community roles, most recently as chair of the AUPresses Task Force on Gender Equity and Cultures of Respect. She is also on the boards of The Association of American Publishers, Rutgers University Press, and Codon Learning. She answers questions about her skills and experiences in the field of scholarly publishing. She also gives advice to those who would be interested in pursuing a career in the field.
