Teaching about Catholic-Jewish Relations: Some Guidelines to Assist the Work of Teachers in Catholic Schools
Jardine, Clare
International Studies in Catholic Education, v7 n1 p46-60 2015
In this journal, "International Studies in Catholic Education" Vol 5. No 2. October 2013, Dr. Helena Miller of the United Jewish Israel Appeal in London argued the need to develop a dialogue between Jewish and Catholic educators. This article is offered as one response to that call. Suggestions are proposed in terms of fundamental resources which could be used by Catholic teacher and matters related to Biblical interpretations and the understanding of contemporary issues. One of the main aims of the Congregation of Notre Dame de Sion is to remind the Church of God's faithful love for the Jewish people and to be in dialogue with Jews in the context of interfaith dialogue.
