The relationship between Elizur's Hostility Scoring on the Rorschach Test and the Acting-Out Score on the Hand Test was examined. Correlations between the two measures (using several scoring procedures) ranged from .40 to .64. (JKS)

It appears that a positive relationship exists between certain attributes of a self-actualizing person and the life style of the person who scores high on the Purpose in Life Test. The California Psychological Inventory (CPI), the Slosson Intelligence Test (SIT), and the Shipley-Institute of Living Scale (SILS) were administered to undergraduates. The Intellectual Efficiency scale scores were correlated .52 with the SIT scores and .39 with the SILS scores. The SIT and SILS were correlated .49. (Author/GK)

The Shipley-Institute of Living Scale (SILS) was used as a criterion to evaluate the Quick Word Test (QWT) and the Wide Range Vocabulary Test Form B (WRVT-B). Testing 50 college students, the correlations were .68 with QWT, .73 with WRVT-B, and .81 between those two tests. (CTM)
