Student Activity Ideas for the Technology Sequence Systems and Foundation Courses.

This publication provides single-page outlines of brief ideas for high school student activities in each of the System and Foundation Courses of the New York State technology sequence. The idea outlines are provided as a resource to assist teachers in the development of student learning activities. The six courses for which ideas are presented are production, transportation, communication, technical drawing, electronics/electricity, and energy. Each outline contains these components: contributor and school; appropriate course; title; overview/description; problem statement; activities; sample topics; references; resource contacts; related technology applications (crossover areas); and recommended facility.
