Purpose, Scope, and Method of Study: The purpose of this study was to describe the perception of growth in spiritual development of undergraduate students attending an Assemblies of God affiliated university by examining the differences in the perception of spiritual development between freshmen and seniors. This quantitative study used a survey methodology with a cross-sectional design. The population for the study was freshman and senior undergraduate students attending an Assemblies of God affiliated university. A systematic sample of 50% of the total population included 192 freshmen and 194 seniors. The instrument used in this study was the Spiritual Transformation Inventory (STI) (Hall, 2015). After electronic distribution of the survey, the overall response rate was 42%. Inferential statistics were used to test the null hypothesis, which stated there is no significant difference in perception of spiritual development between freshmen and seniors attending an Alliance for Assemblies of God Higher Education affiliated university. The STI measured the respondents' perception of growth in aspects of faith using five primary scales: Connection to God, Connection with Self and Others, Connection with God's Kingdom, Connection with Spiritual Practices, and Connection with Spiritual Community. Scales were assessed with a series of 33 subscales. Findings and Conclusions Students: attending an Alliance for Assemblies of God Higher Education affiliated university demonstrated few statistically significant differences in the perception of spiritual development between freshmen and seniors. Results from one scale, Connection with Self and Others, had a significant difference between the two groups. Further analysis in the subscales showed a significant difference in the results of five subscales: Anxious Connection to Others, Distant Connection to Others, Secure Connection to Others, Transformational Suffering, and Anxious Connection to Community.
