This Cooperative Extension Service publication from Mississippi State University is a teacher's guide for a private pesticide applicator certification training program. This guide is designed for use by county extension agents. Contents include: (1) a suggested training schedule; (2) stepwise instructions for implementation of the private applicator training program; (3) an excerpt from the Federal Register concerning certification of pesticide applicators; (4) newspaper and radio press releases; (5) four slide show scripts; and (6) training and scheduling materials. The bulk of the publication consists of the training slide show scripts.
