Educating for Political Activism and Subversion: The Role of Public Educators in a Trumpian Age
Lugg, Catherine A.
International Journal of Qualitative Studies in Education (QSE), v30 n10 p965-970 2017
In this manuscript, I examine the new Trump administration and its US policy agenda. In particular, I am concerned with the administration's embrace of unilateralism, imperialism and authoritarianism, supported by White Nationalism and audacious lying. I offer a few things for social justice educators to consider as well as a call for action and hope.
