Supporting Student Learning
Williamson, Ronald; Blackburn, Barbara R.
Principal Leadership, v10 n8 p65-67 Apr 2010
The organization and structure of a school can affect one's ability to improve student learning. Structural elements--such as the way time is used, the arrangements for collaboration, and the opportunities for sustained discussion of student learning in one's school--can either be barriers to reform or ways to accelerate the work. This article discusses several elements that reflect a commitment to students.
