This activity book was developed as part of an effort to protect water quality of the Stillwater River, Ohio, through a Watershed Protection Project. It is designed to raise teachers' and students' awareness and trigger a sense of stewardship towards the preservation of water resources. The activities are generally appropriate for elementary age children. A collection of 45 activities are divided into the following chapter titles: (1) "Water, Water Everywhere"; (2) "Pollution"; (3) "Wetlands"; (4) "Stillwater Watershed"; (5) "Games"; and (6) "Maps." Topics covered include the hydrologic cycle, the water table, sources of pollution, oil spills, wetland values, wetland functions, watersheds, river systems, dams, and environmental responsibility. Maps include major rivers of the United States, the Mississippi and Ohio watersheds, other Ohio maps, and the Stillwater River watershed.
