This document provides an abbreviated descriptive summary of each Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) Title I project implemented by local education agencies in New York State during fiscal year 1976. The information is presented by county. Financial data is indicated. Amendments to the original Title I, ESEA, include Public Law 89-750 which provides allocations to private institutions for neglected and delinquent children, to children in state-supported institutions for neglected or delinquent children and for youth in correctional institutions and drug abuse facilities. These programs for fiscal year 1976 are also described in this report. (Author/AM)
