Each policy statement includes a statement of purpose; collection guidelines (languages, chronological guidelines, geographical guidelines, treatment of subject, type of material, date of publication, other resources, related subject policy statements); levels of collecting intensity by subject subdivision; and strengths and weaknesses evaluated in terms of programs and clientele served.
