This study examines emotional intelligence and goal setting in enhancing motivation to work among visually impaired students. The study employed a pre- and post-test experimental group design (N = 32) in which participants completed the Work Value Inventory. The study was carried out over a period of six weeks. The results obtained indicated that there was significant difference in the level of motivation of those who had experienced emotional intelligence and goal setting interventions (F = 7.98; df = 1,28; p less than 0.05).
