Nocita, Andrew; Stiles, William B.
Journal of Counseling Psychology, v33 n3 p235-41 Jul 1986
Examined impact of counseling sessions as a function of clients' personality characteristics. Results indicated introverted clients rated their sessions as uncomfortable, unpleasant, tense, rough, and difficult and rated their postsession mood as relatively unfriendly, uncertain, sad, angry, and afraid. Conversely, extroverted clients rated their sessions as comfortable, pleasant, relaxed, smooth, and easy. (Author/BL)
