Wise, Edward A.; Streiner, David L.; Walfish, Steven
Measurement and Evaluation in Counseling and Development, v42 n4 p246-254 2010
This article provides a review of the literature to determine the most frequently used personality tests. Based on this review, internal consistency and test-retest reliability coefficients from the test manuals for the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory-2 (MMPI-2), Millon Clinical Multiaxial Inventory-III (MCMI-III), and Personality Assessment Inventory (PAI) are reported. A summary of the strengths and weaknesses of the reliability estimates for each of the tests is provided. (Contains 1 table.)
