Science, Math, and Technology. K-6 Science Curriculum.
Blueford, J. R.; And Others
Science, Math and Technology is one of the units of a K-6 unified science curriculum program. The unit consists of four organizing sub-themes: (1) science (with activities on observation, comparisons, and the scientific method); (2) technology (examining simple machines, electricity, magnetism, waves and forces); (3) mathematics (addressing skill development in shape recognition, data plotting, and graph reading and construction); and (4) the built environment (with investigations of urban wildlife, waste disposal, land use, pollution and overpopulation). Each sub-theme contains an introductory statement, student activities for lower primary grades (K-3) and upper primary grades (4-6), and a teacher's copy for each student worksheet. All student worksheets are ready for duplicating. (ML)
