Compiled is a selected bibliography of social sciences in forestry, including economic, historic, sociological, and business aspects. Five major inclusive categories are the following: social science applied to forestry at large, applied to forestry's productive agents, applied to forest production, applied to manufacturing, and applied to marketing, trade, and demand for forest output. Arranged alphabetically by author, each entry contains the source of information, place and date of publication, volume number, and number of pages. A brief description of each resource is given. Compilation sources include many periodical professional journals, "Forestry Abstract,""Dissertation Abstracts," the "USDA Bibliography of Agriculture,""FAO Documentation," and publication lists from the United States Forest Service experiment stations.
