Information on subjects of interest to staff, students, faculty, and friends of the Georgia State University is presented. Twelve chapters provide: (1) general information, such as a brief history, a statement of purpose and an overview of the university system of the state; (2) administration, including an administrative organizational chart; (3) budget and physical plant, with facts on current funding and expenditures and a description of the physical plant; (4) degree information, including data on number and type of degrees conferred; (5) student information with statistical tables on such features as distribution, enrollment, and demographic data; (6) faculty information, including salaries, distribution of teaching load committee membership; (7) employee information; (8) alumni descriptions and contributions; (9) description of the library; (10) research grants and contract information; (11) a description of the university's urban life center concept and public service; and (12) descriptions of the computer center, the counseling center, and the academic center.
