This volume describes and discusses numerous educational programs for minorities and women conducted and/or supported by academic and nonacademic institutions and organizations. Included are general assistance programs conducted at black, minority, and women's colleges and specific/career oriented programs supported by corporations. Information is provided concerning the types of assistance given and the purposes of specific programs. The careers toward which such programs are directed include engineering, business and business administration, insurance, medicine, dentistry, and law. An appendix of resources for additional information and an index of corporations and corporate foundations are attached. (EB)
