The eight teaching units discuss the following topics: (1) purposes for want ads, (2) finding want ads, (3) letting the alphabet help in reading want ads, (4) looking for a job, (5) looking for an apartment, (6) looking for a car or bicycle, (7) writing want ads, and (8) using the local newspaper.
