This curriculum guide to the Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) program contains four units of insturctor's materials as follows: Unit 1: Developing an SAE Program; Unit 2: Using the Missouri Agricultural Record Book for Secondary Students; Unit 3: Analyzing the SAE Program; and Unit 4: Using the Missouri Farm Business Record Book. The document begins with a list of student objectives and competencies, advice to the teacher about motivating and evaluating students, lists of references and materials for students and teachers, and competency profile forms on which student performance can be recorded. The materials for each lesson of the units follow a format that includes student objectives, study questions, references for the student and teacher, teaching procedures, evaluation sheets for students, evaluation answers for teachers, transparency masters, handouts, and student work sheets.
