This document contains teacher's materials for an 8-unit course in wildlife conservation and management for 11th and 12th graders. The units are as follows: Making Observations and Records of Wildlife; Habitat Analysis and Evaluation; Collection and Preservation of Biological Materials; Wildlife Population Analysis; Identifying and Controlling Wildlife Damage; Alligator Production and Harvesting; Developing Economic Returns to the Land Owner from Wildlife Management; and Management of Farm Ponds for Sport Fishing. Materials in each unit include an introduction, list of competencies, general and specific performance objectives, suggested interest approaches, a unit outline, recommendations for evaluation and testing, a list of required equipment and supplies, supplementary materials, and a resource section.
