"Planning Your Partnership," a statewide teleconference presented by the California Academic Partnership Program (CAPP), is described and evaluated in this report. Teleconference objectives included the solicitation of high-quality proposals for CAPP grants, increased information dissemination, and expanded experience with teleconference techniques. Contents include information on transmission and reception planning, conducting the conference, followup activities, participant evaluation, response to the call for proposals, and cost effectiveness. Results include an increase in the number of reception sites and participants, acquisition of high-quality proposals, and an increase in the number of proposals from new audiences. Cost analysis indicates a shift in costs from participants to CAPP, which reduced participant costs significantly. Nineteen appendices contain samples of contracts, correspondence, the participant evaluation form, and evaluation responses. Thirteen tables and eight figures are included. (LMI)
