ACCT Trustee Quarterly, v8 n1-4 1983-1984
These four issues of "ACCT Trustee Quarterly" contain articles on topics of current concern to community college trustees. The first issue contains articles on high technology, humanistic management, a legislative history of the "Apple" Bill, trustee-president relations, educational quality, part-time instructors, and health promotion through physical awareness. The articles in the second issue focus on physical and mental health services community colleges can provide, job training legislation, technological education, ethical issues, national concerns, open admissions policies, and trustee liability and immunity. The third issue contains articles concerned with shrinking resources, presidential accountability, community college foundations, rising costs, creative approaches to student financial aid, the need for a national training strategy, the coexistence of humanities and technology, and the community college role in economic redevelopment. Finally, the fourth issue presents articles on specialized programmatic accreditation, the trustee's advocacy role, public policy toward education, public relations and marketing, college governance, the community college's role in national economic development, fiscal constraints, the quality effects of board-president relations, and trustee ethics.
