Seven forms of intellectual accomplishment are identified; each type forms the basis of a certain learning style. This article outlines how to recognize the characteristics of each form of intelligence and how to supply the materials, activities, and experiences that will reinforce these strengths in students. Traditional mathematics education is a relic of the past and is inadequate for the challenges of the future. A blueprint for restructuring the mathematics curriculum is offered. Five broad goals are presented, an enriched curriculum is described, and principles related to affective learning in mathematics are identified. (IAH)
