Perceptions of Role Related Stress in Senior Educational Executives and Its Relationship to Their Health.
Bergin, Mel; Solman, Robert
Journal of Educational Administration, v26 n2 p159-83 Jul 1988
This study was conducted to determine prevalence of self-reported role related stress in senior educational executives based on their personal characteristics, and to examine sources of the perceived stress and evidence of ill health or other negative coping processes. Four reliable stress factors were identified: teacher assessment, time management, disruption to family life, and aspects of representing the system. (TE)
