Hoeflaak, Arie
Computer Assisted Language Learning, v17 n3-4 p315-337 Jul 2004
In this article, the development of a computer-assisted listening comprehension project is described. First, we comment briefly on the points of departure, the need for autonomous learning against the background of recent changes in Dutch education, and the role of learning strategies. Then, an error analysis, the programs used for this project, and some didactic considerations regarding the exercises themselves are discussed. Finally, we show the current position of this project, which was evaluated using a SWOT-analysis and outline some topics for further research.
