Employment Outcomes from Secondary School Programs.
Schalock, Robert L.
Remedial and Special Education (RASE), v7 n6 p37-39 Nov-Dec 1986
Study of mentally handicapped secondary school students (N=108) participating in a community-based job training and placement model indicated that family involvement, hours in vocational programing, and teacher's experience were among predictor variables for employment success. The Individual Transition Plan and financial incentives will further affect the effectiveness of such programs. (CB)
