Analysis of two sets of National Longitudinal Survey data found that intelligence had a strong negative effect on intrinsic satisfaction, little effect on pay satisfaction, and positive association with desired job complexity, not expected pay. Education had a strong negative effect on pay satisfaction, little effect on intrinsic satisfaction, and positive association with expected pay. (Contains 54 references.) (SK)
