Contemporary Issues in Medicine--Medical Informatics and Population Health: Report II of the Medical School Objectives Project.
Academic Medicine, v74 n2 p130-37 Feb 1999
The report of the Association of American Medical Colleges' Medical School Objectives Program presents the work of two expert panels. One, on medical informatics, identified five important physician roles: lifelong learner, clinician, educator, researcher, and manager. Another panel established a definition for "population health perspective" (PHP), and developed a list of the knowledge, skills, and attributes for a PHP curriculum. (MSE)
