Written as a guide to be used in the admission and placement of students from Pakistan in U.S. institutions of higher education, this study discusses the education system of Pakistan. The first four chapters contain a summary of the development of Pakistan. These are followed by guidelines and suggestions for admissions officers and admissions and placement recommendations. The appendices contain a list of Pakistani universities and their teaching departments, institutes, and affiliated/constituent colleges, course outlines, courses and institutions approved for currency exchange, State Bank of Pakistan, Exchange Control, and a list of sample documents.
