This study, conducted within a Managerial Leadership Program in an oil refinery and chemical company in Korea, investigates the relationships between: perceived importance of training objectives and perceived transfer of training relative to those objectives, and types of supervisor reinforcement which trainees perceive to be most motivating and types of reinforcement that they perceive their supervisors use.
